Ruse Goods is an artisanal product line under the Lexie Ruse brand based in Brooklyn, New York.
Our first edible product is Raw Wildflower Honey. We source our honey from third generation beekeeper Mark Brunsvold. Our hives are nestled into a 20-acre forest that is surrounded by 15 acres of wildflowers and clover. This combination produces a unique flavor of honey that we know you will enjoy. We have carved out 32 acres of pristine forest and farmland close to the Shell Rock River in Northern Iowa. This land has been put into a Conservation Reserve Program to ensure that our bees will not be subjected to the pesticides that have threatened the survival of honeybees. OUR HONEY STORY
Honey holds a special place in both Lexie's life. Her maternal grandfather was a beekeeper for over 60 years. He started working with bees as a young man while living in Poland and continued his love of the work when he and his family relocated to America. Some of Lexie's first memories of life were summers spent visiting her grandparent's house and grounds where her grandmother kept a wildflower garden and her grandfather harvested honey from his bees.
